  • Econometrics and Propensity Modelling for a Car Manufacturer
    • Through discussions with their marketing agency, the marketing director of this car manufacturer had come to realise that the best way to assess the effectiveness of their marketing spend was through econometrics. The marketing agency were tasked with providing these econometrics. As this was not a core part of their offering, the agency outsourced this work to ASQ Analytics. ASQ Analytics was able to calculate the contribution to car orders made by the various elements of their marketing communications mix and provide ROIs. With this information, this car manufacturer gained a better understanding of the marketing investment required to improve sales. The models developed were also later used for forecasting.
  • Global Expense Benchmark Report
    • This case study is best described through a testimonial:
    • Kelso Consulting devised a landmark project for our client, GlobalExpense, to provide the authoritative benchmark report of business expense expenditure by the UK workforce. This involved the analysis of over 3.5million expense claims GlobalExpense had processed from over 60,000 employees, with the highlights contained in a 24-page report - Employee Expenses Benchmark Report.
    • ASQ Analytics undertook the extraction and mining of the huge amounts of data. The operation was conducted very professionally with the data presented to us and our client in a clear and easy-to-use manner. Subsequent questions and requests for additional cuts of the data were handled very rapidly (typically within a couple of hours of the request), and both myself and my client’s MD were absolutely delighted with the quality, depth of understanding and straight-forward approach brought by Monica to the project.

  • Segmentation using Customer Satisfaction Questionnaires
    • The retailer client of a St. Albans based market research company wanted to understand more about the types of customers using their shops and how their requirements varied. As a fairly detailed customer satisfaction questionnaire was already been carried out, this was seen as an excellent starting point for investigating customer segments. ASQ Analytics used cluster analysis and CHAID to develop and profile 9 customer segments, based on responses to the customer satisfaction questionnaire. These segments were sense-checked and further fleshed out by the market research agency, using previous research they had conducted. With the combination of primary research and analytics, the agency was able to provide their client with sizeable and actionable segments for targeted marketing.
